Delusions of grandeur, also known as grandiose delusions or expansive delusions, are a subtype of delusion characterized by the extraordinary belief that one is famous, omnipotent, wealthy, or otherwise very powerful or of a high status.

Magnanimous

Generous or forgiving, especially toward a rival or less powerful person.

Incredulously
In a manner indicating disbelief.

Quintessential
Representing the most perfect or typical example of a quality or class.

Egregious
Outstandingly bad; shocking.

Scrutiny
Scrutiny is the act of a careful and thorough examination or investigation of something, often with a critical eye, to understand it better or to check for errors. It can also refer to close and continuous observation or monitoring, such as surveillance.

Principalities
A principality is a region or sovereign nation ruled by a prince or princess, though it can also refer to the state, office, or authority of a prince. The term describes both a territory with a sovereign ruler, such as Monaco or Liechtenstein, and a subordinate state within a larger realm, like the historical  Principality of Wales. In a theological context, "principalities" refers to an order of angels or other powerful, often opposing, spiritual entities.

Sycophant
A sycophant is a self-serving flatterer who praises powerful people to gain their approval or personal advantage. The term is disapproving, and synonyms include bootlicker, toady, crawler, and yes-man. The word has roots in the Ancient Greek word sukophantes, which originally meant an informer or someone who "shows the fig" as a vulgar insult.
